Texas is facing a dire shortage of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed to protect our healthcare workers and first responders on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the most critical pieces of PPE for infection control are full face shields, which protect a healthcare worker’s nose, mouth and eyes from the droplets which transmit the virus.
We are an Austin based volunteer organization that is building improvised face shields by the thousands in partnership with The City of Austin, UT Dell Medical School and local companies.
